I brought my car into Beech to have the spark plugs replaced. For one, kudos to Beech for having noticed they needed replacing 20,000 km before they were actually due. And they showed me a plug to prove it. I've been a customer at Beech for about 20 years now. They have never tried to pull the wool over my eyes to the best of my knowledge. But this time I decided to test them and got a quote from a similar calibre garage for the same servicing. The other garage came back roughly half the price. I was shocked. So I spoke to Clint, the Service Manager. I was informed that the other garage had left out some key details that they would've seen eventually and they would have been "surprise" charges to me. For one, Clint told me there was no point in changing the plugs without cleaning the intake system (induction cleaning they called it). Plus, on my vehicle, there was a two-stage head that needed removing necessitating a new gasket. The other garage had no idea. In all, it was cost effective and inspired confidence in me to continue to have my work done at Beech Motor Works. But there's more: the customer service. I've come to expect the best at Beech and wasn't disappointed this time either. My servicing was booked with CSR-Extraordinaire Tina. I had been putting this service off for the past month due to health concerns. I finally brought the vehicle in the day after I'd had day surgery and clearly I wasn't looking my best. Since it was unusual circumstances, Tina had the guys deliver my vehicle to me at home and I paid over the phone. Since I already was under the weather, it was so special to know I wasn't going to have to fight traffic twice to come and pick up my vehicle: serviced as expected and much cleaner than I had left it with them. Hands down, this is the only place I will bring my vehicle. Thanks to Clint, Tina and Steve, Josh and the guys on the shop floor. This shop is really a class act. John H.
